Locksmithing is the science and art of building and disassembeling locks. Locks are a mechanical device that secure buildings, rooms, cabinets, objects or aother sotrage facilities. A key is a tool used to open a lock. There are many ways of opening locks that include tokens, or multiple factors.
The most ancial lock was first built around 4,000 years ago and was Egyptian. This lock was disovered in the ruins of Emperor Sargon II's palace in Khorsabad, and used the same pin and tumbler principles used in modern locks today.
